Padaric kolander

“I am rarely depicting a specific person in my work and text is purposefully juxtaposed, but often out of context. Recombined and interpreted by the viewer, these devices reveal open-ended themes of ignorance, contradiction, and cynicism.”

Padaric graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 2003. He received the Hunting Art Prize in 2016. In the same year he won the first place juror’s award in the 33rd VAA Juried Competition in Houston, TX. He lives and works in Austin, TX.
