For the Austin Studio Tour we had about 2000 people come through over 4 days and our roster of artists consisted of 14 artists, 12 of whom hailed from Austin. Our entire goal from jump was to open the gallery and represent the direction we think Austin Art is heading, and we feel like that was achieved. Five years from now, this will be a time capsule of a comment, but it’s also absolutely worth noting that this sort of event is wild in a pandemic and we hope to never experience that again.
