False Start was… kind of an exhibition, except we weren’t really open. Our original plan was to open the gallery the first weekend of the Austin Studio Tour, knowing foot traffic would be light since that weekend is typically dedicated to West Austin. The Tour takes place in November though, and here we were in September, with a gallery full of art. As such we quietly sent out some invites and told a few people we had art, and that was that.
